The overall goal of our Kids Classes is to develop climbing skills, abilities, and confidence in order to advance toward our competitive Youth Climbing Team program.
Our Kids classes are six weeks in length (with one makeup class) and follow a structured curriculum where climbers are assessed and accumulate points in five different areas: Knowledge, Technique, Physical, Rope, Boulder
Our Level 3 class is the last step prior to trying out for our Youth Climbing Team. At the conclusion of the session, the instructor will recommend a team tryout, repeat the Level 3 class again, or switch to private lessons.
In order to qualify for a Level 3 class, climbers must:
- - Complete a Level 2 class
- - Accumulate enough total points in that Level 2 session
- - Demonstrate an interest in furthering their skills

- Gravity Vault 2-ply mask provided for all campers
- Face coverings required inside the facility at all times
- COVID-19 symptom questionnaire to be completed by parents at the start of the week
- Temperature checks for each participant and staff member at the start of each day
- Increased sanitation protocols throughout the facility and mandatory hand washing regularly during the day
- Individually assigned harness and shoes to be used throughout the week (communal chalk will not be used)
- Reduced capacity in the facility and other measures
