Have you been lead climbing in the gym and want to take it to the great outdoors? The Gym to Crag - Intro To Sport Climbing class is perfect for climbers looking to learn the skills relevant to safely making the transition to outdoor single pitch sport climbing. You will learn how to set up your equipment, use quickdraws, build anchors and clean anchors. This hands-on class covers learning on the ground, while lead climbing and on the rappel ledge. You will get experience with bolt hangers and anchor styles you will find while sport climbing in California.

This is only a 2 hour class, so upon completion we encourage you to explore California's sport climbs with more experienced climbers and continue to practice these skills in the gym.

Prerequisites:
- Lead Climbing 5.10a - 5.10d and/or V1-V2 comfortably
- Personal climbing shoes and harness 
- Lead Belay certified at The Gravity Vault
- Ages 16+
