Camp Rocks

Camp Overview: Camp Rocks is a 5 day rock climbing camp for kids ages 7-14 that runs Monday-Friday with 7 weeks to choose from. We maintain tight camper to counselor ratios throughout the duration of summer camp. Throughout the day, campers rock climb on our 40 foot top-rope walls and boulder on our 15 foot boulder walls. Counselors lead rock climbing games and team building exercises. Each day there is a special activity including learning to belay, learning to rappel, swinging from the top of the wall on our 40 foot rope swing, movie day and pizza/popsicle day! For two of the five days of Camp Rocks, we take our campers to the Adventure Park of Long Island, where they spend half of the day doing obstical courses and ziplines in the trees under the supervision of our counselors. When campers are not rock climbing, they are welcome to access crafts, board games, giant jenga and other fun lawn games. 

Location:  Our Camp Rocks Summer Camp is located right in the middle of the Huntington Quadrangle, at The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms in Melville, NY. We are located near the Long Island Expressway off of exit 49 South, adjacent to Route 110, and about two miles from Adventure Land!

Rock Climbing Activities: We play lots of rock climbing games at camp like climbing twister, add-on, cLIMBO, Ispy, and the list goes on and on. We also do climbing related activities like "see if you can climb with climbing shoes that are five sizes too big" or our climbing obstacle course that is set up at the base of our kids climbing wall.

What are the kids doing when they are not rock climbing? During summer camp at The Gravity Vault in Melville, campers are always welcome to access crafts, board games, giant jenga and other fun lawn games. The campers will also be able to enjoy two outdoor days doing an Aerial Ropes Course at the Adventure Park of Long Island!

We also do climbing related activities like "see if you can climb with climbing shoes that are five sizes too big" or our climbing obstacle course that is set up at the base of our kids climbing wall.

Camp Rocks

Camp Overview: Camp Rocks is a 5 day rock climbing camp for kids ages 7-14 that runs Monday-Friday with 7 weeks to choose from. We maintain tight camper to counselor ratios throughout the duration of summer camp. Throughout the day, campers rock climb on our 40 foot top-rope walls and boulder on our 15 foot boulder walls. Counselors lead rock climbing games and team building exercises. Each day there is a special activity including learning to belay, learning to rappel, swinging from the top of the wall on our 40 foot rope swing, movie day and pizza/popsicle day! For two of the five days of Camp Rocks, we take our campers to the Adventure Park of Long Island, where they spend half of the day doing obstical courses and ziplines in the trees under the supervision of our counselors. When campers are not rock climbing, they are welcome to access crafts, board games, giant jenga and other fun lawn games. 

Location:  Our Camp Rocks Summer Camp is located right in the middle of the Huntington Quadrangle, at The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms in Melville, NY. We are located near the Long Island Expressway off of exit 49 South, adjacent to Route 110, and about two miles from Adventure Land!

Rock Climbing Activities: We play lots of rock climbing games at camp like climbing twister, add-on, cLIMBO, Ispy, and the list goes on and on. We also do climbing related activities like "see if you can climb with climbing shoes that are five sizes too big" or our climbing obstacle course that is set up at the base of our kids climbing wall.

What are the kids doing when they are not rock climbing? During summer camp at The Gravity Vault in Melville, campers are always welcome to access crafts, board games, giant jenga and other fun lawn games. The campers will also be able to enjoy two outdoor days doing an Aerial Ropes Course at the Adventure Park of Long Island!

Time/Drop Off and Pickup: Camp starts at 9:30am each morning. Campers can be dropped off as early as 9:15am for summer camp. Pick-up is at 4:00pm. Campers can be picked up as late as 4:15pm

Early Drop off and Late Pickup Options: Early drop off starts at 8:30am. Late pickup ends at 5:30pm.
