Summer Rocks! Week 1

At Summer Rocks, we go beyond the typical summer camp experience. This is more than just a place for kids to spend their days — it’s a place where they can thrive. Held over eight weeks during July and August, our camp helps children stay active, engaged, and inspired all summer long. Our team of experienced instructors is dedicated to creating a safe and fun environment where kids can:
• Discover the thrill of climbing
• Learn new skills every day
• Make lasting friendships
• Build strength, resilience, and self-esteem
Bouldering and Top Rope Climbing: Campers explore different styles of climbing in a safe environment
Body Movement: Learn the basics of climbing technique, including footwork, balance, and hand placement
Knot Tying Workshops: Kids will practice tying essential climbing knots like the figure-eight follow-through and stopper knot
Belaying Skills: participants will learn how to belay, fostering trust and responsibility
Climbing Games: Favorites like Add-On, Twister Holds, and Obstacle Routes keep kids engaged while building agility and problem-solving skills, and Crate Stacking Climbing!
Arts and Crafts: Campers make tie-dye shirts, friendship bracelets, and climbing-themed keepsakes to take home
Group Games: Indoor board games and team-building challenges help develop social skills and teamwork
Outdoor Lawn Games: When the weather’s nice, we head outside for cornhole, spikeball, giant bubbles, and more
