Kids’ Classes at The Gravity Vault are designed for children aged 5-13. Our experienced instructors will lead a class every week for six consecutive weeks. We also add a make-up week at the end, so no worries if you miss one. These classes provide an environment where kids will learn climbing techniques, build strength, confidence, and have fun while doing it! 

Cost: $290/6 Week Class Session

Top Rope Belay Class

Ideal for beginners, parents of young climbers, or boulderers new to roped climbing, this entry-level class covers

• Climbing safety and verbal commands

• Rope and harness safety

• Overview of belay devices, including GriGri and ATC

• Knot tying and belaying techniques

• Belaying and lowering procedures

• Details:

• Duration: 2 hours

• Age Requirement: 14+

• Cost: Typically $49; discounts may be available for students or during special promotions

• Includes: All necessary equipment and a day pass for climbing after the class

• Attendance: Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class. Participants who arrive late may not be permitted to join the class, as late entry can disrupt instruction and impact the learning experience and scheduled class time for other participants. In such cases, the class may need to be rescheduled.

Upon successful completion, participants are certified to belay top rope climbs independently at Gravity Vault locations.

A full-body strength and conditioning workout that uses your body weight and TRX straps to challenge strength, stability, balance, and core control. Expect a variety of functional exercises that work multiple muscle groups while allowing you to adjust the intensity to your own fitness level. Build strength, improve mobility, and fire up your core in a workout that is both challenging and fun!

Youth Rock Climbing Break Camp

Ages 5–14 • No Experience Necessary!

Looking for an active and exciting way for your child to spend their day off from school? Our Youth Rock Climbing Break Camp gives kids the chance to get off the screens and onto the walls!

Each 3-hour camp session is led by our experienced staff instructors in a fun, supportive environment. Climbers will get to experience a variety of climbing styles, including:

Top Rope Climbing, Bouldering, Auto Belays, Games and More

No previous climbing experience is needed! Our instructors will appropriately challenge each child based on their age, experience, and individual skill level, helping them build climbing skills while having a great time.

Our goal is simple: kids leave camp having had fun, feeling more confident, and feeling more comfortable on the climbing walls!
