Lagartijas Climbing Crú is a climbing crew created by People of the Global Majority (BIPOC) for the community! Their objective is to help close the gap in the outdoors for People of the Global Majority. They want to create new paths, increase accessibility of outdoor recreation, outdoor-related education and spaces for PGM adults and youths. Lagartijas Climbing Crú events are hosted at Gravity Vault Marin on the 2nd Tuesday of every month!

• Slackline will be up through the event with staff there to lend a hand

BEFORE THE EVENT

• Be sure to fill out a waiver to save you time the day of. If you are UNDER 18 you MUST HAVE YOUR LEGAL GUARDIAN FILL OUT A WAIVER FOR YOU.
• Please allow for some time prior to the event for mandatory gym orientation, so that you can become familiar with our facility, climbing safety measures, and what is available to you during the event.
• If you are new to our gym and certified to belay elsewhere, you will need to take a top rope belay test.

Need some time to yourself? Haven't had a date night in a while? Scrambling to get all your holiday shopping done? Or maybe you just want to climb without having to supervise your kids? We've got you covered! 

Leave the kids with our experienced staff, for an action-packed evening of climbing, games, arts and crafts, and more while you treat yourself to a night out!  We'll be here for  you from 6-9pm on the 3rd Friday of every month.

Join us Friday, October 27th, 6:00-9:30pm for a spooktacular, family-friendly night of lights out headlamp climbing, a contest for the most unique, spookiest, and silliest costumes, and trick-or-treat try-a-climbs with your favorite candy! Bring your headlamp, friends & family, and send some climbs! If you don't own a headlamp, no worries - we sell them in our retail space.

Half price day passes for youth 20 and younger.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Children under 14 must be directly supervised at all times by an parent or guardian.
• Trick-or-Treat Routes are managed by our staff - perfect for kids if the parents do not belay.
• If you are going to be climbing, you need a day pass or membership.  If you aren't climbing, no day pass needed.

Join Bay Area Climbing Coalition (BACC) for a lively and engaging in-person event at Gravity Vault Marin. Connect with BACC, share ideas, and have a blast! This town hall is the perfect opportunity to voice your opinions, ask burning questions, and be part of a vibrant community. If you enjoy climbing at Vent 5, we'd love for you to come to our first town hall meeting to hear how the BACC is getting involved

The last Monday of every month at 7-9:45 pm we'll set up a slackline for your enjoyment! Bring a buddy, come to climb, and hop on the line! Slack lining is a challenging and fun workout perfect for heightening sensitivity in your feet for enhanced footwork, increasing your overall coordination and full-body awareness, as well as a fun pass time to connect with others!

Try it out - no prior experience is needed! We'll have a staff member present at all times to lend a guiding hand.
