Summer Rocks- Rock Climbing Summer Camp
Camp Overview: Summer Rocks is a 5 day summer camp for kids ages 5-14 that runs Monday-Friday with 8 weeks to choose from. Summer Rocks is a Summer Camp all about ROCK CLIMBING! During summer camp we maintain tight camper to counselor ratios throughout the duration of summer camp. During the day campers rock climb on our 35 foot top-rope walls and boulder on our 15 foot boulder walls. Camp counselors lead rock climbing games, activities, and group games. Each day there is a special activity including learning to belay, swinging from the top of the wall on our 30 foot rope swing, tie-dye day, movie day and pizza day! When campers are not rock climbing they are welcome to use our open activities area that includes lawn games, crafts, and board games. When the weather is nice we do play outside!
Location: Our Summer Camp is located right in the heart of the Hudson Valley at The Gravity Vault Indoor Rock Gyms in Poughkeepsie, NY. We are located just off of Route 9 5 minutes north of The Poughkeepsie Galleria and 5 minutes South of Vassar Hospital.
Rock Climbing Activities: During Summer Camp we play lots of rock climbing games like climbing twister, add-on, cLIMBO, Ispy, and the list goes on and on. We also do climbing related activities like "see if you can climb with climbing shoes that are 5 sizes too big" or our climbing obstacle course that is set up at the base of our kids climbing wall.
What are the kids doing when they are not rock climbing? During summer camp at The Gravity Vault in Poughkeepsie, campers are always welcome to access crafts, board games, giant jenga and other fun lawn games. When the weather is nice our camp counselors take the campers outside to play. Last we had a 400 square hopscotch competition outside!
Time/Drop Off and Pickup: Summer Camp starts at 9:30am each morning. Campers can be dropped off as early as 9:15am for summer camp. Pick-up is at 4:00pm campers can be picked up as late as 4:15pm

Summer Rocks- Rock Climbing Summer Camp
Camp Overview: Summer Rocks is a 5 day summer camp for kids ages 5-14 that runs Monday-Friday with 8 weeks to choose from. Summer Rocks is a Summer Camp all about ROCK CLIMBING! During summer camp we maintain tight camper to counselor ratios throughout the duration of summer camp. During the day campers rock climb on our 35 foot top-rope walls and boulder on our 15 foot boulder walls. Camp counselors lead rock climbing games, activities, and group games. Each day there is a special activity including learning to belay, swinging from the top of the wall on our 30 foot rope swing, tie-dye day, movie day and pizza day! When campers are not rock climbing they are welcome to use our open activities area that includes lawn games, crafts, and board games. When the weather is nice we do play outside!

Rock Climbing Activities: During Summer Camp we play lots of rock climbing games like climbing twister, add-on, cLIMBO, Ispy, and the list goes on and on. We also do climbing related activities like "see if you can climb with climbing shoes that are 5 sizes too big" or our climbing obstacle course that is set up at the base of our kids climbing wall.
What are the kids doing when they are not rock climbing?
