The Intermediate Team is comprised of individuals who have limited climbing expericne and are interested in taking climbing to the next level.  They need to have basic knowledge of top roping and bouldering, as well as have the ability to effectively use their feet to position their body while climbing.  Climbers need their own equipment.

 

We take the health and well-being of your children very seriously and in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission we have put the following policies in place:

All Gravity Vault Teams will be restricted to no more than ten (10) members during a practice session. 

Face coverings will be required to be worn at all times during practice with the exception of water breaks. 

All team members are asked to keep a minimum of 6ft from other team members and gym goers whenever possible. 

Cardiovascular workouts will be limited due to face covering requirements. 

Frequent use of hand sanitizer before and after climbing is required.

Any Team GV members (including coaches) experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to stay at home until they are symptom free for at least three days. 

Coaches will be responsible for overseeing the adherence of these policies.

Climbing is an excellent overall workout that combines cardiovascular fitness, strength training, core development and overall aerobic movement. It targets muscles in the arms, chest, back, abs and legs. Enjoy a full body workout in one climb. This class will also incorporate exercises beyond climbing including resistance training, core development, and stretching.

“I’m not strong enough to climb.” I also hear this repeatedly. Climbing is more about precision, balance and placement than brute arm strength. Women are often better climbers because they focus on technique and flow in their movements, rather than relying too heavily on upper body strength. This class will introduce you to basic climbing techniques including how to make precise, quiet placements that carry your weight, body positioning and center of gravity alignment.

Advanced Team Practice

The Advanced Team is comprised of individuals who have a well-rounded climbing technique.  They will undergo an intensive training program that incluces stretching, power training, and climbing.  Climbers need their own equipment. 

 

We take the health and well-being of your children very seriously and in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission we have put the following policies in place:

All Gravity Vault Teams will be restricted to no more than ten (10) members during a practice session. 

Face coverings will be required to be worn at all times during practice with the exception of water breaks. 

All team members are asked to keep a minimum of 6ft from other team members and gym goers whenever possible.

Intermediate Team Practice

The Intermediate Team is comprised of individuals who have limited climbing expericne and are interested in taking climbing to the next level.  They need to have basic knowledge of top roping and bouldering, as well as have the ability to effectively use their feet to position their body while climbing.  Climbers need their own equipment.
